At Edgewood, cheerleading is the soul of our team. 

Cheerleaders lift our spirits and give voice to our emotions. They give birth to our hope when there is none to be found and carry the team when it can not stand for itself. Our fans pride themselves in being the loudest and the proudest, but if it weren’t for the accomplishment of our cheerleaders, they would have no direction to follow. The training is intense, long and relentless. The routines require the cheerleaders to learn how to work together and how to trust in one another. They learn coordination, balance, and leadership.
